SAS packing list

This is an ongoing list of items recommended to me by alums that apparently will be quite useful for the trip

Sweatpants – apparently the ship gets quite cold

Coffee mug (or buy an SAS one at the store)

Hanging toiletry bagexample here – when the ship rocks, everything sitting on a table does not stay put

GoPro  a little more on the spendy side, but a worthwhile investment for a camera because it’s durable and waterproof (with the case)

Auto shutoff straightener or curling iron – like this, this or this – SAS will not let you bring a regular one on board due to fire hazards

Day trip/ overnight bags – small duffle or backpacking bag – for ports

Food and food enhancers – by that I mean spices, sauces, snacks – anything to enhance the dinning experience on board, which I hear leaves much to be desired

Big bags that get small – only a 9inch clearance under the beds and not much else in the way of storage for a suitcase

Laundry bag, clotheslines, wrinkle removing spray – duh

and just for fun… a shot of me attempting to pack for a month long Europe trip in a backpack (before I learned how to clean my room and got roommates in college)
